Diary Post#28. *A trip to the park*

 

Dear Diary... 

So, on a Tuesday & Thursday afternoon my 2 year old son attends nursery. & with the weather being so amazing this last week or so we have been able to take a few trips to the park after I have collected him & tonight, we did just that :) 

Just me & my boy in an empty park tearing around like two children.. 
as much as I enjoy the few hours that I get to do my "own thing" there is no better feeling when 5.30pm rolls round & I get to go & collect him from Nursery.! Every week I am greeted by his excited face squealing with excitement shouting, "my mamma" & then him cuddling & kissing me like he's been away from me for weeks, not a few hours! - my heart just melts.

There is truly no better feeling than being a Mum :) 

A-Z Challenege. F is for FUN on a trike. :)

This evening I am one very PROUD mamma as this afternoon my son learnt to ride his trike for the first time USING THE PEDALS :) For a few weeks now, he's been more interested in pushing the trike around & when he's been sat on it he's pushed himself along with his feet so today, I encouraged him to put his feet on the pedals & push down to get himself moving, after a good 10 minutes of coaxing & encouragement we finally had lift off.. He was very chuffed with himself to say the least & altogether I think we spent a good hour out in the front street with Joel just going up & down on his trike. I think it's safe to say he loves it, oh & he now also calls the trike "my bike" which I think is just adorable :) 

Below I have added a little video of Joel on his trike.. i'm sorry if I sound like I am on the verge of a heart attack, I think I am starting with a Chest Infection. 

 

A Video that I wanted to Share.

I wanted to share this video with you because it makes me feel unbelievably proud. My son's speech is coming on amazing since we saw his speech therapist & I am hoping that she too will see an improvement when we see her again next month.
