So I haven't put up a post in the last few days so I thought that I would update you all on my whereabouts :)
It is exactly 5 weeks & 6 days until my little boy turns 3 years old & yes I am counting. Although I am feeling quite gutted at the prospect of him getting another year older, I am really looking forward to his birthday. This year we have book his party in our local pub.. don't judge me! We are having it there because there will be around 11-12 children attending Joel's party this year & there just isn't enough room in my house for all them little bodies, & the pub we are having it at, has a huge back with a massive play park where all the kids can run about & burn some energy. I actually got this idea from a friend, as I attended her little girl's party on Saturday with Joel, infact, I blogged about it ;) so yeah, I stole her idea & all I have to do is provide the catering, which I would of been doing myself anyways because the function room is free.
So late last night (because yet again I was struggling to sleep) I was surfing on Ebay to see what party bag bundles I could get for the kids, I also ordered Joel's birthday cake with a friend yesterday & it's going to look amazing. I am getting him a Super Mario cake with chocolate & cream filling, & the words "Happy 3rd Birthday Joel" on the top of the cake. Thanks to his "daddy" Joel is a massive Super Mario & "weewee" (Luigi) fan, so I think it is more than safe to say, my little boy is going to go crazy when he sees his cake! :D
I am feeling so happy & positive with everything going on in my life at the moment, & I am loving that I am feeling this way, I hope it never stops!
